How do I qualify for Move-in pay over time?
To qualify for pay over time, you must meet Flex’s eligibility criteria, which may include income, account history, and credit-related checks. You’ll also need to pass identity verification.
At this time, renters can only use one Flex product at a time—either for move-in costs or Flexible Rent. If you already have a Flexible Rent line of credit, you’ll need to close that line before you can use Move-in. Likewise, once your move-in payment plan is complete, you’ll be eligible to use Flex for rent.
What if I’m not approved for pay over time—can I still use pay in full?
Yes. If you don’t qualify for pay over time, you may still qualify for Flex to pay your move-in costs in full through the app.
Why was I denied for pay over time?
At Flex, we assess your eligibility based on several factors, such as your credit report, banking details, and payment history. Typically, customers with fair or better credit profiles are eligible for Flex. See your adverse action notice for more details.
How does Flex determine eligibility?
Flex uses a combination of soft credit checks, account health, income verification, and identity validation to determine eligibility.
