What happens if I miss a Move-in payment?
If a payment fails or is missed, Flex will notify you by email and in the app. While we don’t charge late fees, your ability to use Flex for rent or future Move-in payments may be affected.
How can I make up a missed payment?
You can log in to the Flex app and manually make your payment. If autopay is on, we may retry automatically. To avoid disruptions, we recommend resolving any missed payments as soon as possible.
Will Flex retry my payment automatically?
If a payment fails and you have autopay turned on, Flex will automatically retry up to six additional times. If all attempts fail, you’ll need to pay manually in the app.
Can I change my payment method?
Yes. Go to your Flex app settings to update your linked debit card. Be sure to update it before your next scheduled payment to avoid another failure.
Will this affect my credit?
No. Flex Move-in payment activity is not reported to credit bureaus at this time, so missing a payment will not impact your credit score. However, unresolved balances may affect your eligibility for other Flex services.
